Office chair, review of Ergoduke Ultra-Flex Ergonomic
5 min readOct 25, 2021
This is the first post of a short series where I will be reviewing a few home-office equipments that I recently acquired to work more comfortably from home.
For this chair, I had a few criteria in mind:
- Mesh material: this allows the body to breath through and limits perspiration. Living in Sydney, Australia, days can feel really warm sitting all day.
- Ergonomic: one thing important to me is lumbar support. In addition, the chair needs to be adjustable in height and the seat should be adjustable back and forth.
- Fun and relaxing: I love that my chair can tilt, it is both fun and relaxing. Also, when using the chair in tilt mode, it allows for a great headrest.
- Design: I love good aesthetic, so a chair that is visually pleasing gains points.
- Price: I gave myself a budget of AU$400 dollars maximum. I knew I wouldn’t get a super high quality chair, such as the Herman Miller, for this price. Obviously, you get what you pay for and we will see in which price/quality range this chair fits.
After some research and considering a wide range of chairs at Officeworks, and Ikea, I finally landed on the Ergoduke Ultra-Flex Ergonomic. This chair matched all the above criteria and came down to AU$309, shipping included.
Ordering experience
I ordered the chair from MyDeal.com.au. It was the first time I came across this…
